Yes. Go to settings > notification panel. You can make adjustments there.

I'm going from memory since I no longer have the Note 2. Is it under "display?" I know there was a setting to add and delete icons and to rearrange them...

Thanks guys. I found out that AT&T removed this ability from 4.1.2. How great is that!
