Pulse light notification for missed calls

Has anyone been able to get the notification light to work for missed calls on the pixel? I am getting no light for missed calls and ambient display only works on initial notification. This is rather frustrating. Thanks.

Make sure you have enabled the pulsating notification light by following these instructions: How to enable the Google Pixel's LED notification light | Android Central

There’s also a tab to “allow all notifications”, so make sure that is enabled as well. Let us know if this fixes your problem.

Thanks, the pulse notification light is on. It works for texts, not missed calls and doesn't appear to work for priority email in gmail. Allow all notifications is set too. This wouldn't be as bad if ambient display worked correctly.

I’ve done some searching and can’t find anything specific to the Pixel; however, there’s some discussion about the 6P missing certain LED notifications such as calls. It looked to be a feature Google did not build into the 6P in terms of calls being able to display LED notifications, and the solution was to use a third-party app. If this is the case, then it could be what’s happening with the Pixel.

Did anyone get this figured out?? It seems strange that the light would blinky blink for everything BUT email, and phone calls. LOL

Yes, mine works fine on missed calls. Get Light Manager from the Play Store.
