Purplish/pinkish dot on the screen that happened recently.

What can it be? Is it a dead pixel, or a heat issue? I think this happened after i updated my software to the recent android update. I didn't drop my phone in water also.

Could be a screen defect. Doubtful that it was caused by an update. What brand and what type of screen it....LCD or AMOLED?

Do you think warranty will cover a replacement? It only shows up on white backgrounds.
