Hi all, I am currently using S4 and want it to switch to HTC ONE, can you guys tell me if HTC ONE can do push email? I am mainly using gmail, hotmail, and aol.

previouly blackbery works them all on push service, not sure about ONE, my S4 obviouly can't do it .

Thanks

Gmail comes pre-installed and you can download the outlook app for Hotmail.

BB uses (except the new BBOS10) the BIS (Blackberry Information Server) that all email goes through. For email accounts that don't have push (yahoo for example) the BIS actually polls and all emails are then pushed to the phone, so technically, the BB's don't push :) the BIS does.
The new BB's with OS10 (Z10 and Q10) have the same "problem" now as the Android devices working with email accounts that don't push (again, such as yahoo), that is the phone has to poll the account.

Maybe i'm totally missing something but I can not get my emails pushed on my HTC One and it's frustrating. I have a Hotmail and gmail account and I have to open both to manually refresh. My Hotmail account is using the stock email app, I used Microsoft exchange activesync and have the frequency set to push. I use the Gmail app for my gmail and can't seem to find the refresh settings in the app so it pushes emails automatically.

Can someone please help?
