Push email stops every afternoon

Brand new GS5 on Verizon, and I only have one or two more days left to return it. I have noticed that sometime during the second half of the day, my Exchange 2010 push email stops working on cellular data. A manual email sync does work then to bring in new email. However, as soon as I come back to WiFi during the afternoon, push email starts working again. When its not working, I have checked multiple times and mobile data "auto-sync" *is* turned on, so that doesn't seem to be the problem.

As I have always done with all my past phones, I power my GS5 off all night. Then, the process above repeats itself every afternoon. I am suspicious of one particular downloaded app causing this problem, but since I only have one day left to possibly return the phone, I thought I would post the question here.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts you may have!
 
Did you check in the email settings, what is the sync schedule? Maybe it's set up to only sync during business hours
