push notifications not working - Bell Canada Galaxy Nexus

I see a few people having problems with GMail push not working - but my problem is both with GMail Push and kik messenger, nothing that is supposed to push on my GN will come through. Was thinking about factory reset, but I'd rather not do that. I'm running 4.0.1, anyone have any ideas or solutions? Thanks!
