Putting apps from old phone on my Z3c

I have a galaxy s5. I have a ton of apps and don't want most of them on my new z3c. When setting up my z3c is there a way to prevent all the apps from downloading to it when I sign into the z3c?

I wish I knew. I signed into google and got every flippin app I've ever signed up for. And, every contact I've ever emailed. I mean, why would they think we want to keep every contact ever? Sheesh

You could try uninstalling the apps you don't want from your old phone first. Not sure how Google set this up on their end though. A lot of apps I had on my old phone didn't self install on the new phone. Some did, some didn't.
