I was given an unlocked galaxy note 9 and need a way to test the phone before selling it. Could I put the Sim out of my t-mobile s22 Ultra in the note 9 to test the phone for function? Thanks!

Assuming the Note9 isn't carrier-locked to some other carrier, and that it's a variant that supports T-Mobile's bands, it should work.

Yes. You should be able to. Just factory reset after you pull it back out to make sure there is no lingering personal information.

It shouldn't mess up my sim doing that? The Note 9 has already had factory reset done on it and no Sim.

It won't mess up the sim. I'm just saying once you connect to the carrier network personal information like your name, phone# address etc are download to the phone. A format after removing the sim is a layer of protection for yourself
