Q about themes + screen size

Got my Strat in the mail today, and I've been tooling around with it all afternoon. Having just come from the Droid X with CM7.1 and the new ICS theme, I'm really let down. The olive green is hideous. Seriously... wtf?

Has anybody put together an AOSP-like theme for this yet?

Also, why is the screen so small? The specs say it should be 4'' just like my wife's Droid 3, but here's is noticeably bigger when I put them side by side. Haven't measured the exact difference, but it's there for sure.

I just measured mine and I got 4" on the nose So I don't know why the Droid 3 would advertise a smaller screen than it really has, unless it's an optical illusion based on the design of the phone. Also, there's no themes or ROM's yet. We're still working towards a recovery so we can make backups and start porting ROMs over.
