[Q] Advantages of different ROMs?

I am currently running ARHD 12 on my phone with Nova and I love it. However, I have been reading about other ROMS and their advantages. What ROMS do you suggest I try, and what are their main advantages.

Most ROMs will offer a better battery performance, due to differences in kernels and use of CPU power. I would suggest either Cyanogen, Paranoid Android, or AOKP. All of those should support the HTC, and offer 4.3, or if not now, they will soon, and probably faster than the carrier will release.
