(q) Does your screen wake up when you receive a text message?

I have the Note 3 on at&t. And it does not wake up and show a preview like my iPhone did. Sometimes it will show quickly on the status bar and go away quickly

did you go into the messaging app, hit settings and then check preview message?

I have the Note 3 with Verizon and It does wake up and show a preview at the top when I get a text message.
