[Q] Help please! Exclamation Point!

I did. Honestly it involved reading Shabby Penguin's one click code and figuring out what was going on. I was on a Palm Pre for 2 years and this is my first foray into Android, so the whole rooting process was really intimidating.

This wasn't too complicated, which is why I can understand your reaction, but I do see how others less tech literate could be confused.

I did the One-click-Root and then got the update OTA and let it install, but now I'm on the exclamation point/android guy screen and can't do anything!

What do I do?

Did you ever find a fix for this? I'm rooted and have SU access, but when I try to flash clockworkmod (via rom manager or by using the .img file) the recovery goes away after I restart my phone.

What method did you use to root?

I used the manual method of unlocking, using the cmd in windows to put clockwork on, then flashing the su file.

I found a fix for my problem though. Seems like I had to go into the system folder and rename a file.

to clariy for future use, the one click does indeed issue the command fastboot oem unlock, which if your bootloader is locked... WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE

however if your unlocked.. then youll get an error message and the script will continue (meaning yes you can run it again and again over and over til you finally get everything set up, without losing anything). OCR 2.0 removes that file so no worries there
