[Q] Lost permission to write to SD

My wife's phone was able to write to its external SD without a problem (used by Titanium). That permission has vanished. The phone is rooted, running 4.4.2 w/ stock ROM. The "only" change was to move the phone from my gmail account to one she just got.

I looked at the file SDFix modifies. The change is still there. Worse, using FX, there is no way to gain write permission even when in FX's su mode. Something else has changed, but I don't know what. Ideas?
