I was wondering if support for Xionia Custom Recovery was dying and if I need to update to Cannibal Open Touch v1.1 to be able to flash new roms, because I noticed that Kraven had to make a special zip for his latest CM9 Alpha to be able to flash it on that recovery... The only reason that I haven't upgraded was because that recovery uses touch controls and I prefer to not have a recovery with touch controls, so is there an updated recovery like Cannibal Open Touch v1.1 that doesn't have the touch feature?

It would be a one in a million shot to accidentally hit "wipe data/factory reset" and then scroll itself to the "yes" on the next screen and then hit confirm. :p

Also,COT is not like some other touch recoveries where there are buttons on every part of the screen for different actions as if it were an app drawer. Touching on the text options does nothing; the only part of the screen that is touch responsive is where the Honeycomb icons are at the bottom. Further, Drew has added confirm dialogs for the stuff that really packs a wallop.

If you drop your phone while in recovery, your biggest worry will be finding the battery and hoping nothing is broken. :-\
