[Q] SD-EXT not showing up

So I backed up, and used my cmw blue recovery to partition my SD card and I chose 1gb ext. And I put everything back on the SD, rebooted and it doesn't say its larger anywhere. Except my SD card size is smaller Any ideas?

What rom and what method are you using to check?..... And what doesn't appear larger? Internal memory size won't change with all a2sd mods.

I'm using bobzhome's cm9.1 I just formatted through recovery, ext4

Well I'm not that familiar with which script he's using but with some the only thing you'll notice is apps aren't taking up the space they used to

The partition that the phone sees, your first partition will actually be smaller now. With bobz ics you don't have to move anything. Its all done automatically.

Do you have any apps moved to sd-card via manage applications? I think with the a2sd++ script that bob uses in cm9.1(love this rom. Its my daily) it puts the apps on the sd-ext automatically and puts a link on internal memory. Very similar to link2sd. So uncheck the box by the app under "on SD" in manage applications

you need to use d2ext or int2ext

The ppl with it showing those large amounts are running an init.d script which mounts sd-ext as internal. There are also ones that just move the dalvik and apps to sd-ext these work just as well but don't show you that space you only see your internal not being used as much as it should vs the apps installed
