Qi charging question

Hey all,

I'm getting ready to purchase a 46mm Moto 360 and I had a question about the Qi charging. Does anyone know if you can charge it on any flat qi charging plate? I wasn't sure if you could because of the shape of the new version. I thought I heard that the lugs prevent it from establishing a good charge. I have a nokia qi charging plate leftover from the windows phone days.

Well yes you can but I've noticed one of my chargers works better with it than another one. Funny since its the cheap one that works best with it.

I have a Samsung and Nokia and they both charge the 360, not sure how well since I just tried them and didn't leave the watch on for an extended time.

Yea, I have a charging plate and it charges my Moto 360 2nd gen but if you opt for the metal band, you can't really place it on the plate like you can if you have a band that lays flat, just a heads up.

Thanks for the replies. I plan on using a leather band so it should be good. Guess I'll keep some of the charging plates around.
