Qik update

I saw that an update was released for Qik. I have the EVO with the built in app. When I checked for updates with appbrain it didn't show any. When I tried to uninstall Qik using quickuninstaller it said it can't delete it. Is appbrain not instant at showing updates or can we just not update Qik until Sprint/HTC release an update for it? I really don't want two Qik icons on my phone.

I haven't seen Qik be updated at all today and I believe I read the same thing you did about it being updated... so I'm at a loss as well.

Wasn't QIK updated in the latest firmware HTC released? Maybe its being updated for other Android phones other than the EVO.

Their was no update. The front page post is referring to a stale post from Qik last month, which their was an update, back then.
