Question: 4.1.2 update

Does anyone know if and when the U.S will recieve the 4.1.2 update for gs3? Im reading a lot of rumors online. Some say the update is out in the U.S for carriers like sprint and then others r saying no, their is no update.. im on at&t carrier. Thanks in advance

The Galaxy SII Skyrocket just got the 4.1.2 update today. This shows how screwed up AT&T is. They the release latest software update for the Galaxy S phones on the previous model before the most current :-(

And then you would be annoyed that you bought a phone with Jelly Bean instead of waiting for Key Lime Pie to be released, and then decide which phone with KLP already on it to buy. I am wondering if my S3 will get KLP before March of 2014 when I can buy a new device, probably the Note 3 with KLP already on it.

I am sorry but think that update they are talking about is what we have now 4.1.1 not sure if or when we will get 4.1.2 or higher.

I don't know anything about that website, but the article makes absolutely no sense at all. The update will provide Touchwiz Nature? That's been on the GS3 since it was released, with ICS. New feature Google Now? That's was release in 4.1.1. It reads like a really bad translation, too. I suspect someone for whom English is not a native language found an old press release and thought it was something new. There's nothing in that article that reads like 4.1.2.

Anyway, you could always move to Sprint. 4.1.2 was released last month, and Premium Suite is currently being tested and expected for release pretty soon. Rooted Sprint GS3 users can install a pre-release version of 4.1.2 w/ Premium Suite already.
