i use razer phone2 with 64gb internal storage and 64gb SD card . i formated sd card to internal storage and in system phone it show up total 128gb but when i connect to window10 via usb. At file explorer show only sd card and only64gb not128gb next i try to copy file to that SD card until it full then i cant take a photo anymore. got a massage like storage full (at phone system show i have 84gb of 128)

it correct ? or i dont understand about adoptable storage. this is my first android phone.

So many users have had problems with adoptable storage that it is no longer recommend. Many manufacturers no longer give the option to format the card as adoptable. SD cards are slower than the internal storage so it will slow your phone down, the card will eventually fail due to it being constantly written to.

Formatting the card to internal storage with adoptable storage encrypts the sd card preventing anything else from reading it. That is why your phone sees 128Gb but your computer won't recognize the card.

Adoptable storage isn't something I would recommend using. It can slow the phone down because sd cards are significantly slower than the internal storage, and if the phone fails you can't access the data on the sd card.

If left as external storage the sd card is primarily for media and files, and your PC would be able to see it and transfer files.

ok in conclusion i should reformat to portable SD and install app /game or something that use a lot read speed to internal storage and use sd card for image / music right ?

All apps need to be on the internal storage and the SD card formatted as external and used for files such as music and photos.
I hope this helps.

and other question how i select default storage for playstore apps save photo location(from camera) i want to set default app to at internal and photo at sd.

All apps will automatically default to the internal storage, you don't need to change any setting. Look in your camera app settings for the option to save photos to the SD card.
