You can use one account to purchase apps and put them on multiple devices right? My wife and I just got SGSII's.

Also, how does app data carry over(if at all) from phone to phone? Say I get a SGSIII next year. Will everything copy over somehow(app data)?

You have to login to the same gmail account on both devices, which may or may not be desirable.

Also, I've not had any app data carry over when switching phones. Really annoying with game progress.
