question about android

So with all this talk of the new HTC EVO i have been really thinking about switching from the palm pre to the HTC EVO. how i have never had a android phone and wanted to know what would be the big benefit of switching from the PRE to the HTC. I already know that the EVO will not be able to do voice+3G witch i think is dumb but i could live with out it.

That is not quite true. If you check the androidcenter front page you will see that Sprint is currently testing and trying to get 4G+voice to work.

yeah but they already said no voice+3g and seeing that 4g will be so limited that the phone will be in 3g for must of the time.
