Question about Best Buy $100 gift card with purchase of LG G4?

I'm looking to buy the phone outright ($630), can I use the $100 gift card towards my purchase of the phone, making it $530? Or do you get the gift card only when you make the purchase?

I've heard of people talking the BB associate into letting them use the gift card but they aren't supposed to from what I understand

They let me apply my GC to the purchase of the phone, FWIW. But not everyone has been able to do this.

They also let me apply the gift card toward the purchase. I used an upgrade so it reduced the price from $200 to $100.

Anyone bought it online and pick up in store? The store said I should get the $100 gift card in an email, but so far I haven't seen any after 2 days.

I was unable to use the GC toward the phone.

I called about not receiving my card and was told it would be email to me. The rep told me it could take up to twelve days to receive. She gave me a reference number if I didn't get my get my email. I did get an email for the card though the next day.

Yeah I contacted BB email support and they said the same thing but so far no email with the $100 gift card yet. I should have just bought it in store.
