Im still working on wrapping my brain around android. what ive learned so far is pretty cool.
but i have a question about replacing the boring as paint drying AT&T boot animation with something a bit more "entertaining".
I havent rooted the phone. still a bit leery about doing that on my own just yet.
so is it possible to replace the boot animation with another animation thru a file explorer app?
ive done some reading of general information on replacing boot animations and it seems to have conflicting answers. some phones you can, some you cant until its rooted. but i didnt find anything specific to the inspire in regards to replacing the animation on a stock phone, non rooted.
so the question is 2 fold i guess.
1. is it possible to do without root?
2. if so, is there a tutorial link to the process and if not, does someone have the steps to do so?
