Question about Bump Charging

is Bump Charging a permanent fix, or is this something that I'm going to need to do everyday? I recently purchased the extended battery, but don't like to use it to much due the the over all weight increase it adds.

It varies. Personally I do it a couple of times when I first get the phone and that seems to do the trick. Other people do it once, some weekly or monthly. But no, there shouldn't be any reason to do it every single day.

Do you mean letting the battery run down to 0? Not such a hot idea with lithium ion batteries - better to top it off whenever possible.

I deplete mine thrice to zero when I first get it and then deplete to zero once every month from then on.
