Question about Droid's syncing of Facebook

On my Droid I want to sync Facebook photos WITHOUT syncing anything else ie Phone numbers, email addresses, etc. When I try to edit these added things in my contacts it says "Facebook contact information is not editable on this device" Does anyone know a way around this? Or what about a 3rd party program? Thanks!

this is a good question, though i don't have the answer. i'm looking for the same solution because i have all my contact info linked through gmail...not facebook
