question about galaxy prevail

I just got the Samsung galaxy prevail and was downloading some applications some we available to put on the home screen and some I have to go to the market and click on my apps to access them is there a way to put them on my home screens as well?? thanks in advance!!

I own a Samsung Galaxy Prevail and it's driving me crazy. Because it's so new, there aren't a lot of support forums out there! But you press and hold your finger to your home screen and a menu should appear. Click on Shortcuts, Applications, and then you can scroll through your applications and choose which one to add to your home screen. To move or delete a shortcut, press and hold and then move or drag to the trash bin! Hope that helped!

Thank you polkad0ttedchick I'll have to try it. Also saigep17 its a very great phone I dont know about battery life, but other than that great phone i love it. just hard to get much info about it because its so new!
