question about gentle alarm app and silent mode

my stock alarm still works when I have my phone in silent mode at night. Will gentle alarm app also work this way?

yep - I have a Tasker profile that puts everything in silent at 9 p.m. when plugged in and my Gentle Alarm goes off every morning
