Question about having 2.2

I am new to the forum, and new to the rooting side of phones.

I have just rooted my droid about 3 weeks ago and put the leaked version of 2.2 on my phone. The question I have is this: When the OTA rolls out, will my phone still receive the option to update? Or must I go back to stock 2.1? If so can someone point me where I must go to go back? Thanks!

It depends. Most of the custom roms have OTA updates blocked. I'd wait until someone gets out a rooted copy of the official Froyo release so you don't end up stuck with no root.

Do you know if the sapphire .07 blocks the updates? Thats what I have the right now with 2.2

Just an FYI, there is no known way to root with 2.2 atm, so I wouldn't roll back until we know you can root again

If the ota is frg01b then its the same thing that's been leaked so don't stress you will get the official update rooted soon
