Question about ICS home screen

I've got the latest ICS on my Note, and I'm really liking it. I recently started using the Gmail client and I would like to put that in the middle of the home bar instead of the Email Icon. I know I should be able to do it, but I'm not seeing how. Is this possible and if so, how do I do it?

Also, is there any way to change the look of folders? They are FUGLY and look worse than win 3.0. :D

Do you have the at&t version? I am running a Google Nexus because I'm tired of the empty promises from the carrier.

Yes, I have the ATT version. The leaked build of ICS is very nice. But, I still have the same questions. I haven't played around with the Note too much since I'm on vacation and trying to not be too nerdy. :D

Just click on the Email icon and enter your Gmail info and it will become
your Gmail account, It will still show as the same Email icon but will
take you to your Gmail.

Have you tried doing it the same way as with gingerbread? (Go into apps, tap menu button, edit, and you can drag icons in and out of the "stationary apps" off the bottom.)
I don't have ICS still "waiting".
