Question about lag

I haven't had an android phone in over two years. That phone was the Samsung Galaxy Epic 4G. Then I switched to the iPhone 4S. The reason I switched was that I found the Epic to lag a lot after only 6 months of having the phone. I also had a ton of force closes. My question is, will these newer android phones, specifically the Note 2 as I am interested in buying one, begin to lag after 6 months of use? I would love to come back to android but only if I had a lag free experience. I don't want to have to root my phone in order to get it to work either.

Any phone could experience lag after that much time when you install and uninstall programs. A simple hard reset is good maintenence for your phone. This phone is worth it.

Another way to limit lag is to "stop" some of the non essential apps that are "running" in the background. Android runs a lot of them...also a good cache cleaner helps more than u know....clears out all the junk
