Question about messenger

When sending new messages someone today haven't had a conversation with before, sometimes when I press the home button and then go back into the messenger it will go back to that one person to read vs the entire inbox thread. I would rather it go back to the main inbox view. It's very inconsistent . Any reason why? I would rather go to my main inbox view vs the 1 person thread. Thank you for any input.

Ahh that happens to me sometimes, i been trying to reproduce this error with no luck. I haven't found any solutions though.

I mean overall I really do love the messenger app. Its got a great look to it, and all....this was just a small question, that's all. No biggie. Thanks anyways.

I like the new messenger app. I find it is much more responsive than using hangouts for sms. It also seems to work better with Motorola Connect.
