My company is forcing us to install Microsoft Intune on out personal devices in order to receive our email (catch 22 as they provide 99% of us with nothing cell or computer). In reading what the software allows my company to have access to, I'm a bit concerned. They claim it is to ensure the device is secure with a locked screen. However it seems to allow them to see virtually any and all of what I have on my phone as well as remotely wipe the device. Is there any insight as to if that is possible? What can they see in reality, Web browsing history, personal text messages, etc? Is there any way to install this application and limit it's reach to some extent? Also is there a means to trick it into believing i have a locked screen? I find a password very inconvenient for day to day use. I also would prefer to not require a second handset. I use a note 4.
