question about music.

I have recently been listening to a long series by Dan Carlin using the music app,and have noticed every time I close the app out and come back to it the episode I am on starts playing from the beginning again. Is there a way to fix that? Or do I just need to keep up with where I am in the episode and fast forward.

You would need to use an app specifically designed for podcasts or audiobooks. Most music players right now, once you exit them, will 'lose' your position in a song because, well, most people actually don't want to listen to half-songs when coming back to a player after they closed it.
