question about photo gallery app - EVO 2.2

Is there any way possible to change the order of photos and videos in the gallery app ? When the gallery is opened, photos and videos are shown according to date (oldest first). I would like to have them shown alphabetically according to name. I have spent far too long renaming all of my photos and videos for this to happen and I have found nothing that helps me out. Thanks for any insight.

The way I've done it is to plug your phone to your computer and put it to disk drive. Go to whatever gallery you want and right click and move to "arrange by" and click whichever one you want. There may be another way but it's the only way that I've done it and it's worked every time.
