Question about processor

The Snapdragon 845 has a 64-bit octa-core chip built on 10nm process. The 8x Kryo 385 CPUs are set in a big-little configuration, with the "big" cores dedicated to heavy lifting and resource intensive processing (performance) and the "little" cores dedicated to maximizing efficiency. The number of cores used for each process is dynamic, and so you could have any number (typically not more than 4) assigned as "big" and any number (typically 2 to 7) assigned as "little". Because of the different tasks that they are handling, they have different clock thresholds accordingly.
