I am rooted running stock (no themes or Roms) GB .588
I went & grabbed a Droid Charge and now have someone wanting to buy my X

Can I just go in CWM & factory reset and they can then activate phone? Will it still have GB on it or will they be back on Froyo?

When I had a rooted Fascinate the person I sold the phone to factory reset but they did it under settings & I had to use Odin to get it back to stock.

Yes the factory reset, it resets to the stock version of what is currently installed, it wont roll back versions. Especially that far. So you left your X for a Charge, hows that working out for ya? Were gona miss ya in the X threads.

Loving it so far!
I've had a couple of X's, couple of Fascinates - couldn't decide what I really wanted but I think this is the phone that I will keep for a while.

jersery - want to make sure I'm understanding

I went into CWM - wiped data - now this is wiping all of my stuff
when she goes to activate it, what system will be running for her and it shouldn't present any problems right?
Not like it would if she was to factory wipe under settings

Unless you RSD, the buyer will get a very clean version of 588. Don't forget to either yank the SDC or wipe it too...

You spelled my name wrong! lol

The system that will be running for "her" is the latest build you have installed aka stock (no themes or Roms) GB .588

If the person buying it is ok w/ the gingerbread(factory reset) then leave it and sell it as is, if not then sbf to froyo.
