Question about rumored OTA update?

I heard some rumors that an update bringing 720p video recording, mobile hotspot, and the Droid animation was coming soon. However I'm unsure of whether this is coming in the Froyo update or if it's a separate thing altogether. I want my HD video now, please! lol

At this point, the update is still officially a rumor I believe. Yes, it is rumored to have the hotpost and the 720p recording. If it does come out with Froyo, it could be as late as Christmas as stated in an article posted on Android Central.

I would think that HTC would want to put out the update quickly to combat the upcoming droid X from moto.

The incredible is still an amazing phone, too bad people have had so much trouble getting them lol... (I walked in and bought mine the day it came out )

The funny thing is they are already announcing the X to be a very limited release. To me, I would see the X competing more directly with EVO then the Incredible. I have my iPad for the larger screen
