Question about transferring music to V10

I use iTunes for all my music on my Mac. I know there are wi-fi options like iSyncr available to transfer music, but if I wanted to simply copy and paste everything in my iTunes or Music folders from my Mac to my V10, would it transfer the information for playlists, play counts, checked and unchecked music, etc? Is it that simple? Thanks.

A straight copy paste would not transfer your personal filters. So the content will be transferred but not details which are calculate dynamically because they are part of the software and can only be synched.
