Question about updating unlocked S III

Hi, I know this may be a stupid question, I've tried googling it and looking around the forums with no luck. I have the unlocked AT&T S III and I'm using it on a local carrier. I was just wondering how I would go about getting the software updates since it won't be connecting to the AT&T server? Any help would be appreciated!
