My question about wirefly is why do they have such a bad reputation?

I've used them before without any problem whatsoever.

I bought my first sprint phone from them. It was cheaper than buying from sprint directly.

I bought my palm Centro from them. They made a mistake and didn't extend my contract, so I essentially got a new phone w/o paying full price AND extending the contract.

I bought my samsung itstinks from them, once again, no problem whatsoever.

Only phone I didn't get from them was my HTC EVO 4G.

But I keep seeing and hearing people say wirefly and letstalk are SCAMS.

Where's the scam part?

you pay for something (and you pay LESS than you would going directly to the carrier) and you receive what you pay for.

am I missing something?

If you change your plan, they charge a "recapture" fee... Like having 2 ETFs in one.

yeah you can't change for the first 6 months, but it tells you that upfront and in plain english with no legal mumbo jumbo.

I still don't see the problem or the scam.

Can you really call it fine print when it's listed 3 times during the order process and in bold on 2 of them?

*swyped from the evo so excuse any typos*
