Hi, I have just bought the phone Samsung Galaxy S2, Model number: GT-I9100, Baseband version: I9100DXKF1, Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKF1-CL265340 root@DELL106#2. imei:358150046618832

I was advised by the sales staff to charge my phone initially for 8 hours. My question is if the display shows full battery after 3hours, should I continue charging it up till 8 hours? as advised by the sales staff.

Won't overcharging occur if I leave it to initially charge for 8 hours?

Please advise, thank you.

Regards,
AC

P.S: I bought a new battery, can be use on GT-I9100, GT-I9100G, GT-I9100T
Model: EB-F1A2GBUCSTD
