question: do you turn off your phone at night?

Yeah no such option for me. My first Note (open box with non functioning front camera) was an unloved version and had more options. When I returned it I went with the Verizon version to get the 300 bucks off. Kinda regret it but I'm glad I saved 300 bucks.

ah ok, the Verizon version always seems to be stripped of stuff for whatever reasons they have, both mine are European unlocked since I live in Ireland.
We don't get free bee's though, all I got was a DeX station lol

No I leave it on, but turn on the blue tint, turn off the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Data, ing with auto sync. turn brightness way down to about 15%. usually have my Night Clock on it too.

Not me, it's my alarm clock!
I don't think there are any gains with leaving it off other than saving battery, but if you are in a position to turn it off at night, why not.

Oh definitely my alarm clock too durin the week. Then again I flip it over and make it snooze probably four times before I actually get up. Lll

I never turn off the phone. seems like too much work and then there's the problem of an emergency and no one can contact me.

I don't turn my phone off at night but Friday night my note8 shut itself off because I fell asleep before putting it on the charger and it died. I was cursing myself when I woke up lol.

No, I do don't. Last time I don't turn off my wifi also. I have do not disturb mode which is turning on time so don't bother me

I never turn off my phone. When I am on a plane, I am on their Wi-Fi or airplane mode. I need to be reached in case of an emergency whether it's my family, financial (identity theft), or home security breach. My phone is one of the most important things I own. It's not a toy or a means for social media. It's a necessity. On Sundays, I reboot my phone to refresh it.

you might (??) extend the life of the battery by turning it off at night, but even if you did, other things might impact the longevity of the device such as Android updates /support, etc that have nothing to do really with the physical life left in the device.

I had a battery issue with my note 5 just after 2 years but did not investigate replacing the battery (maybe could have had that done), but upgraded to note 8 instead.

But turn it off at night? never. many things I would do without before doing that.

I was wondering if that's good to do...prolong it's life?
Why would you?

Let me give you example, do you mind turning off the refrigerator at night to prolong its life and save electricity? I guess no. It's a hassle right. Waking up in the morning all stuff inside it aren't fresh and cold anymore. Even the ice is not frozen.

Same thing with our phones today, they're built to be alive 24/7. It's our personal companion, assistant, computer, etc etc that will help us complete our chores every day. You don't want to miss a call or text from a friend or relatives even if you're asleep. So why would you?

Just keep it charge at night before you sleep.
