How do I make a folder in the app drawer? Can't seem to figure it out.

Thank!

Re: Qurstion...folders in the app drawer.

You can use the paid version of Apex (or many other launchers) for this. With the default launcher I'm not sure how/if it's even possible.

It's a bit convoluted.
Basically, open the app drawer. Click the menu overflow button in the upper right. Go to view apps by. Click "custom" . *edit: Do what Jacob said below "select edit/uninstall in the same menu area."* Now, in the app drawer, when you long-press on an icon, you'll be able to drag it onto another so that it creates a folder like normal.

^^^This. It's also easy when doing so, to accidentally get the app to merge and form a folder with an app that you don't intend. The result can be quite entertaining. :)

Nope...not working. When I long-press on an icon, the screen goes to the home screen where it wants me to put it. Any other suggestions?

Hit the view apps by custo as mentioned above, and then select edit/uninstall in the same menu area. You will then be able to drag apps into each other to create a folder.

As I said, pretty convoluted. So much so that I forgot to list one step for you; sorry. As Jacob said, do everything that I said and add his last step before dragging them onto each other.

This is really one area LG's UI team did a pretty crummy job of, haha.

Yes, but thank you very much for figuring it out.

For those wondering, resetting it to "View Apps by Name" keeps the folder you've created and organizes them alphabetical by folders, then apps. Cleans up a lot.

No problem! Good tip to finish it off, too. I have to list them alphabetically; otherwise it's a crazy mess.

Damn I had no idea this could be done!

Yes, many people probably think it's not even possible since they made it a five-step process...lol.
