Hi all;
I am considering switching to one of the Moto Gn Power phones; I would like to know if Motorola phones have any programs installed which restrict which truetype fonts I can install and use?
Context:
I've been using using Samsung Galaxy phones for years now... I've liked them because I can get extended batteries for them, which provide *very* long usage runs!! However, one thing has really aggravated me - at some point, Samsung started installing FlipFont on their phones, and I cannot install use normal truetype fonts, I can only use the *very* restricted set of fonts that are offered via FlipFont, and almost all of those have to be purchased.
So, I'm looking at non-Samsung Android alternatives... my two primary requirements are longer-than-normal battery life (which the Moto Gn Power phones appear to provide), and freedom to select the truetype fonts that *I* want to use.
BTW, I understand that many folks may consider this a trivial issue; I ask that we skip that discussion here. It is important to *me*, important enough that I am willing to forgo Samsung phones!! It also is not the question that I am asking...
