Forgive me, but I'm not familiar with that update. Can you give me more details on what's going on? I can absolutely get this forwarded to my device engineers to get their thoughts on it.

Gotcha.

I sent it up my internal chain to ask about it. At least in the channels I manage (AT&T Forums, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) we haven't seen any conversation around this.

I don't have information on when an update will correct the screen color, but I did get an approved fix from my device team.

To correct the visible reddish hue on the display of your device, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Display > Screen Mode > Color Balance.
3. Slide the colored dot along each line to adjust the levels of red, green, and blue to your preference.

After completing these steps, the issue should be resolved.

....And just like that, we've started pushing out a new device update starting today (5/9/17) for the Samsung Galaxy S8 (G950U) and Samsung Galaxy S8+ (G955U) that is meant to correct the color balance on the display settings.

Updated this afternoon. It fixed my very slight pink tint along the right edge.
