Question for the Dev

I have both Pure Grid Calendar and Pure Calendar widgets, and really like them both. Is there any possibility of combining the 2 widgets? I would love to have the option, like with another button at the top of the widget, to be able to switch in the same widget between the grid and the agenda view... just a thought that I had.

Unfortunately, no.

For 3 reasons :
- they started as 2 different apps, and it would be very difficult to merge them. Technically speaking : very different rendering techniques, completly different options, different skin system ...
- the price. Merging them would mean merge price... 3€ for a widget, I think it would be too high.
- the update. I can't forget all 100000 users. Merge in which app ? Pure calendar, Pure Grid calendar, or a new one ? a new one would means a lot of job to maintain features in previous apps and new app. an 'old' one, would mean drop one application (like Pure grid for example)... not sure all current users of Pure grid only would appreciate

I was seriously thinking about it, but I dropped the idea.

sorry, had to borrow this thread real quick, since i do have a question for the dev as well... just a small one.

i have both paid regular and grid calendar apps... been switching between them and all the other calendar apps, but i've decided i like the basic pure calendar one the best.

however, recently i've noticed that it doesn't show anything from the "google US holidays" calendar. it is listed in the calendars to show, twice in fact, and i have tried everything to have it show in the widget and it just doesn't (they are both definitely selected). it's not a huge deal, i won't lose sleep over this, but i was wondering if maybe there was a fix to this? (or i am just being crazy!)

Unfortunately, no.

Would it be possible for both apps to detect if the other one is installed and then provide an option to switch between them on-the-fly?
