question on disable ongoing WiFi

I have tried going in to sqlite and setting the numbers to zero but that didn't work I also tried the shortcut. I don't want it to say that I'm connected to the Wi-Fi on my pull down menu. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The old sql/anycut method are only compatible with ICS.

I haven't come acrossed any fixes yet, aside from the temporary force stop but that only lasts until you reboot.

From my understanding the framework between ICS/JB are very different, a new work around must be figured out. Not sure how these custom stock ROMs pull it off though.
