Question on flashing 4.04

OK sorry for the noob question but I saw on a website that Google had 4.04 on their sever and you just needed to flash it in recovery mode if you are unrooted. I downloaded it and went to recovery mode and there was just the triangle the! In it. What did I do wrong. Thanks people

You need to be unlocked and rooted in order to flash it in that easy.

There are a couple different ways to get it installed, and go back to locked and non-rooted after. I'm looking into doing this myself this weekend if the OTA doesn't hit before then.
