Question on rooting to GE and beats audio and uodates

I've never rooted a phone but if I do the GE Rom will I lose beats audio and will I get updates from Google for the GE Rom. I have an att one.

The GPE Rom actually has Beats built into it. You will not receive updates from Google as it just a ROM and not the true Google Edition RUU. There is also an .apk of the Sense Camera so that you can still use the HTC camera software for those good low-light pictures. Here is the link to the GPE Rom in case you need it.
