Question on time stamps on text messages after turning phone on

So whenever I turn on my phone, after it has been off for a few hours, after about a minute or two, I will get a few text messages, sent to me while my phone was off. However, the date stamp on them all say the time when I turned my phone on, even though they were sent hours or even days before.

How can I fix this?
Is there something wrong with the SMS app I use? (I use Go SMS Pro)

Mine does the same thing. I think it has to do with the OS. Not sure if there's a way to change it.

Mine does the same thing with the stock messaging app. It must be an Andoid thing. I have Gingerbread installed and it still does it so it won't be fixed in the near future. Kind of a bummer, my old/cheap text phone used to give me more information about a text then this phone does.
